Q3 Zoom Portable Camcorder - Rocks!!!!

This little camcorder is amazing.  I replaced my Flip Video camcorder w/ the Zoom.  The superior audio makes a huge difference to the overall quality of the video.

Later this week, I will be writing a detailed post about the Q3 in the jiveSYSTEMS Blog.

TubeMogul - Simple Video Syndication and Analytics

Video emails add the personal touch to your communications.  They are not - and will most likely will never be - a substitute to plain text emails.  Yet a well-timed video email can be the difference between and sale and a loss.  If you are doing business online, you should be creating videos and then loading them to YouTube and other video sharing sites, along w/ scheduling them in follow-up sequences.  Every time you make a new contact via phone, you should send them a video email also--it's much harder to forget a face than a name.

TubeMogul is a free service that uploads your videos to several video sharing sites at once.

Ubiquity - Don't Surf the Web. Command it.

I am always on the lookout for new tools to help me save time. Ubiquity is a Firefox add-on that lets you give commands to Firefox by entering command words into a special input box. The project is in the very early Alpha Testing Phase. Commands are shortcuts for things that you commonly do on the Web.

Google Wave - This Looks Cool (don't know if it will be useful though)

I have been surfing the net for an article I am writing about the social bookmarking on the jiveSYSTEMS Blog. Having already written several articles on the subject, I want to bring it all together. I got sidetracked by this video on Google Wave. Form what I can tell, Google Wave combines Gmail and Docs into a niffty collaboration suite. This service sort-of competes with Lotus Notes by IBM. I signed up to be a beta tester because Google Wave looks like it could be very useful.
